What You Can Embroider On This Hoodie

Text, Letters & Monograms Names, words, initials, phrases. Single letter, double initial, or triple-letter monograms in classic serif or modern clean styles. Any font preference noted at checkout.

Constellations Your star sign constellation, a birth date star map, or any specific night-sky pattern — rendered in fine, precise line-art thread. One of our most requested designs and one of the most striking on a dark hoodie.

Roman Numerals & Special Dates Anniversaries, wedding dates, birthdays, birth years — stitched in classic or modern Roman numeral typography. Centre chest or sleeve cuff placement. Elegant on black and navy, striking on grey.

Geographic Coordinates The exact longitude and latitude of your most meaningful place — where you met, where you got married, where you grew up. Formatted as a single clean line or stacked two-line layout.

Custom Photo Line Art — Any Subject Upload a photo of anything and we'll convert it to precision line-art embroidery:

  • Pet portraits — dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, horses, any animal
  • Vehicle portraits — cars, motorcycles, vans, caravans, boats
  • Couple portraits — two people together in outline line art
  • Individual portraits — a person, a silhouette, a meaningful face
  • Memorial portraits — someone or something you want to keep close

The photo needs to be clear and well-lit. We handle the line-art conversion and show you the result in your free design preview before we stitch anything.

Tattoo & Flash Art Fine-line tattoo designs, traditional flash art, blackwork illustrations — translated from skin to fabric. If it works as a tattoo, it works as embroidery. We'll confirm in the preview if any simplification is needed.

Tarot Card Designs Full tarot card panel embroidery — The Moon, The Star, The Lovers, Death, The World — or any card rendered in detailed line art. Substantial, mystical, and completely striking on a heavyweight hoodie.

Handwriting & Signatures Upload a photo of a loved one's handwritten note, letter, or signature. We reproduce it stitch-for-stitch as a permanent keepsake on your hoodie. One of the most emotional things we make — and one of the most meaningful to receive as a gift.

Dog Breed Line Art — No Photo Needed Don't have a clear photo? No problem. Select your dog's exact breed from our curated breed illustration catalogue at checkout — we embroider a beautifully styled, breed-accurate line art portrait directly from our illustration library. Available for dozens of breeds including Labrador, Cavoodle, Border Collie, French Bulldog, Kelpie, Golden Retriever, Poodle, Staffy, and more.

Cat Breed Line Art — No Photo Needed Same concept for cats. Select your cat's breed and we handle the illustration. Available for Domestic Shorthair, Ragdoll, Persian, Siamese, Maine Coon, British Shorthair, Burmese, Bengal, and more.

Corporate & Team Embroidery Logo, brand name, or team identifier in single-thread for a clean, professional finish. Works beautifully for café uniforms, small business branded hoodies, event pieces, and team gifts. Contact us for bulk pricing — minimum quantities apply.

Honest Limitation

We embroider line art and text — not complex full-colour photographic images. If you're unsure whether your design translates to embroidery, contact us before ordering. We'll tell you honestly, for free, within 24 hours. No obligation.

The Hoodie — Fabric and Fit

Why fabric weight matters for embroidery:

Most Australian custom hoodie services use 280–320GSM blended fabric. Ours is 380GSM 100% cotton. At this weight, embroidery sits flat and sharp — no puckering, no distortion. On lighter fabric, the stitching pulls the surface. The difference is visible and permanent.

GSM Feel Examples
200–270GSM Light, thin, typical fast fashion H&M, Cotton On
280–320GSM Mid-weight, decent Most "premium" basics
380GSM Heavyweight, structured, lasting This hoodie. Represent. Essentials.

Specifications:

  • 380GSM heavyweight 100% cotton

  • Boxy fit — dropped shoulder, wider chest, shorter body
  • Pre-shrunk — true to size after every wash

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Can I embroider something that isn't listed above?

Almost certainly yes. If you have a design concept not covered above —
contact us and describe it. We'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable
and how it would look. We've embroidered things people didn't think possible.

Can you embroider my tattoo design on a hoodie?

Yes — if it's line-art based or fine-line style. Upload a clear photo of the
tattoo or the original artwork file. We'll show you in the preview how it
translates. Very fine detail below 2mm may need slight simplification —
we'll flag that before proceeding.

Do you do corporate bulk orders?

Yes. Contact us for a bulk quote at info@faverit.com.au — we handle café uniforms, team gear, event
pieces and branded corporate gifts. Minimum quantities apply. Response within
24 hours.

Can you embroider a tarot card?

Full tarot panel embroidery is one of our most striking design styles.
Select the specific card and we'll digitise it
into embroidery-ready line art. Centre chest and back placements work best
for full tarot panels due to the size requirements.

Can you embroider constellations?

Yes. Select the type of the constellation pattern, or simply tell us
which constellation you want (e.g. "Scorpio constellation, 5 main stars") and
we'll create it. Left chest placement is popular for constellations.

Can you embroider my car or motorbike?

Yes — as long as you have a clear photo from a good angle. We convert it to
line-art and show you the result in your preview. Most vehicle portraits work
best on the back placement due to the detail and size.
